A Chinese Spouting Bowl, or Resonance Bowl, is a special bowl with handles that you fill with water to demonstrate the behavior of waves. 

When you rub the two handles on the bowl with wet hands, the vibrations created make the water surface ripple and eventually splash from the bowl. 

Dan from The Slow Mo Guys decided to purchase one of these bowls and then try it out while Gav filmed the results in slow motion. 

The results are surprisingly beautiful and will open your eyes to things in our world that are present, but not usually seen.
