Once upon a time, not so long ago, we used devices called cameras to take photographs.
These cameras took a special film that had to be developed after being exposed in order to become a picture.
So how does this device take light photons and capture them on a film that can then be chemically developed into a picture?
The process is a lot more simple that you might think, it just takes a little chemistry and some know-how.
This quick but informative video by SciShow explains that science behind this once common practice.
