Light has been a mysterious thing that people have been trying to figure out for centuries. 

We now know that everything we see with our eyes is actually just light being reflected off of objects into a hole in our eye, but that was not the case 2000 years ago. 

So how was light discovered and how did we learn all the fascinating things we currently know about it?
