Clocks in a railway stationTime is a strange thing. It is ultimately a man-made concept, but it existed before humans and will continue long after we are gone.

What we consider time, is really just our way of measuring something that is not tangible, but is certainly an important part of our lives.

While I have you thinking deeply about time, think about this; Do the North and South Poles have time zones?

I mean, technically, the poles are in all of the time zones at the same time, so how is time measured there by explorers and scientists?

This video by the Today I Found Out YouTube Channel explores the answer to this question and goes on to explain how time zones came to be and why we use them.

After you watch the video be sure to leave me a comment to let me know what you thought!
