Is Having ADHD An Advantage?Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most commonly diagnosed psychiatric disorder among children and teenagers.

While some studies have linked drinking and smoking during pregnancy to cases of ADHD in children, genetics appears to be the biggest factor that determines if you're going to be born with ADHD.

While even the name of this "disorder" makes it sound negative, research has shown that ADHD could provide some positive benefits to young people, too. Could ADHD be an evolutionary advantage?
