Cats love boxes. It is a fact that can not be disputed. It is so true that there numerous internet memes just to point it out. 

Now that we have that established, we can ask the golden question.  Why? 

Why is the world do these fuzzy little balls of sharp claws and love seem to be attracted to anything that they can fit most of their behinds into? 

The answer has a lot to do with their status as ambush hunters and a little to do with anxiety.
