Sometimes after sitting in a strange position for a period of time, you get a strange tingling sensation in your legs. This sensation is often referred to as "Pins and Needles". The same feeling can happen when you hit your elbow, which is why it is called the "funny bone". Known as paresthesia, it is very common and mostly harmless.
